Postpartum Support International promotes awareness, prevention and treatment of mental health issues related to childbearing. The PSI website contains thousands of resources related to postpartum and offers free support groups to moms and dads! There is also a helpline you can call if you need help finding resources in your community.
211 of Connecticut is a free, confidential information and referral service that connects people to essential health and human services 24 hours a day, seven days a week online and over the phone. 211 can refer you to crisis services if neccessary.
The Gottman Institute's mission is to reach out to families in order to help create and maintain greater love and health in relationships. The Gottman Institute website provides resources for couples and families looking to create a happier and healthier life. The Gottman Method is the therapy method I employ in my couples counseling sessions.
The American Counseling Association is a not-for-profit, professional and educational organization that is dedicated to the growth and enhancement of the counseling profession. The ACA website contains the professional ethics from which I operate as a Licensed Professional Counselor. The site also stays up to date with the latest news and resources in the mental health field.
